2012 So far

We have been busy with Gymnastics, Horseback Riding Lessons, School 2 days a week and Rodeo! The girls love all of it! Here are some pics from the last 2 months! Oh yes Cali celebrated her 9th birthday!

Emerson's 4th Birthday

We celebrated Emerson's 4th birthday this past weekend. Since she is really into horses right now that was the theme. She wanted her instructor, Sandee to bring horses over. I kept telling her I would ask, but wasn't sure if that was possible. All along we were planning on a friend bringing a horse over, which was a surprise to E!! The party and surprise was a huge success and she was totally surprised!!

 Berkley has been terrified of horses! Every week during E's lessons she stays away from them! All of a sudden she got on and would not get off!

When I started this blog I was very excited about it.......then I quit!! So here goes my 2nd attempt at blogging! I am going to post a weekly update!

I will start with the last week and then move forward! Emerson had her 2nd appointment with the dentist. She did very well and got an excellent report!

I took the girls to Six Flags last week! Ivana and Miranda were able to go with us! E & B absolutely love it!! Emerson was on the roller coaster, which Berkley is too short for so she rodes the cars with Miranda!

Kiddie Park

I took the girls to the Kiddie Park on Broadway last Thursday! Mimi was able to meet us there and play for a little while! Emerson loved all the rides. Berkley only like the horses on the carousel. She wanted nothing to do with any of the other rides!

Sunny Afternoon in Market Square

Tuesday afternoon I took Emerson & Berkley to Market Square downtown. I needed to pick up a couple of pieces of pottery for Dina (neighbor) for her b-day. It has been a very long time since I have been down there, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Well.......the girls and I had A LOT of fun! We went through numerous booths looking at all the fun stuff! Emerson wanted every purse she saw! We then headed outside to see more........they had Tejano music playing which is all the girls needed. I let them out of the stroller so they could dance and play around! There were not that many people around so it was really nice. I have already put my request in with Nick to head down there one early Friday afternoon to drink Ritas and enjoy the scenery!

It was a little bright for Berk......looks like I may have another diva on my hands!

New to Blogging World

I follow many blogs of various friends, photographers and some very crafty people! I have now decided to start my own blog to keep everyone up to date on what is going on at the Prater Casa! I am sure 99% of my posts will be E & B related! There might be an occasional Cali post as well - since she was the 1st child and all. I do post quite a bit on Facebook for family to see, however I know many family members are not on FB and I am sure my "friends" get tired of my pics and status updates!
